Guest Posting Explained: Placement Process, Timing and Reporting
Editorial placements still need a real publisher and a real article, which is why the outcome depends on the site as much as on the content.
A placement usually starts with a short brief: topic, target page and the anchor text the client prefers. The publisher then decides where the article fits, edits it if needed and schedules it next to its own content.
What to check before ordering
Useful checks before ordering: does the site keep its articles indexed, does it place links inside the body text rather than in a footer, and how consistent is its publication pace.
Teams that prefer not to negotiate individual publisher terms can coordinate outreach, content and verification through DigitalGroup. The service documents the status of every placement, so the process can be reviewed afterwards.
